    Hey guys,

    I have a Sony Vaio S Series (VGN-S18GP) - asian version of PCG-6CDP. Anyways, its a Pentium M computer,

I understand that Core2Duo CPU chips are 479 pins, totally compatible with Pentium M chips, for more info on this, check out: http://www.asimobile.com/intel_c2d_mobile.htm

Anyways, I'd like to know if anyone have any experience upgrading their CPUs from an older chipset (hopefully pentium M, and having it supported by their bios) I just upgrade my laptop's bios to the latest one, I just ain't sure if it supports Core2Duo, or even Core Duo, would be glad to do some form of upgrade on my aging but perfectly fine laptop ;)

Thanks in advance for the advice!
