    Hey guys
    Sony was less than helpful when I tried to troubleshoot why my computer display would not show up when i put it into sleep mode with the a/c adapter connected.

    there used to be no problems, but in the past couple of weeks, the screen would just stay black. I would attempt screen on or off, and the LED's would respond properly, but nothing would show up until i did a hard shutdown and startup.

    Is this a software issue i'm facing? They just suggested to do a system restore, but i'd rather not unless i have to.
