    CTO + engraving

    If I order a CTO, I can't return it, right?
    Does this mean there is no disadvantages of getting engravings?
    I'm not planning to sell my laptop in the future or anything

    You cant return it - unless it has a defect/repair and you have warranty no exchanges, so only repair..

    Another disadvantage of engraving is that right now you may love your new CTO to death but in 2 years what if something AWESOME is out and you JUST have to have it? So selling your CTO for fraction of the cost to buy the new lappy = if it had engraving, I doubt anyone besides same-name buyer would buy it (if at all) :D

    You CAN return a CTO, but NOT an engraved one (unless serious defect or something). I am going to do a CTO notebook, but I will not engrave it. Why loose the chance to return just for a tiny bit of engraving? And yes, if there's any chance you will later sell the notebook it would certainly effect the value.

    I just ordered a CTO WITH engraving... I did NOT engrave it with my name, but instead a quote, and am fully prepared to have trouble if I ever decide to sell it down the road. :D

    The return policy of CTO is the same as the pre-configurated ones. (30 days, no restocking fees for opened item). But with engravings, no return.
