    CTO shipping/delay until arrival question

    Hi,

    Yesterday night I ordered a Sony Vaio CW with the following specs from Sony Canada.

    Component: Intel® Core™ i5-540M processor
    Component: NVIDIA® GeForce® G211M GPU (256MB VRAM)
    Component: 14" VAIO Display (1366x768) (we can't get 1600x900 here, and I really need this laptop now, can't wait anymore)
    Component: Standard Capacity Battery
    Component: 320 GB SATA Hard Disk Drive [5400 rpm] (I'm probably gonna upgrade this later one)
    Component: DVD +/- R DL / DVD +/- RW / DVD-RAM Drive
    Component: Icy White (when I selected the color, the estimated shipping went down by 1 day, good news)
    Component: 4GB (2GBx2) DDR3-SDRAM-1066

    Ok so, the estimated shipping at checkout said february 15th.. Does that mean that I will get it on that day or they will ship it on that day?

    I took the free shipping option.

    Also, what are your experiences with sony style canada concerning the shipping?

    The estimated shipping at checkout -- Feb 15-- is the day they ship it. As in the day that it will be in the hands of UPS or Fed Ex or whoever the shipping provider is.

    Tack on about a week more for it to arrive at your door (if you're lucky).
