    Hi all-

So it's been a bit over a year and a half since I bought my CW27. The battery has always had issues (never made it much past 2 hours, drained on sleep, drained on off), but it seemed like this problem was widespread with this model and nobody on these forums had found a solution when I stopped regularly reading the threads about a year ago.

Well, I'm back because my battery life has hit about 30-40 minutes with nothing more than simple web browsing. Is this typical now for CWs not even two years out? It was an inconvenience before, but now I can't even watch a 30 minute TV show in bed w/o having the laptop plugged in! I don't have that many charge cycles compared to a typical laptop user - I usually leave it plugged in due to the already crappy battery life.

I've done the basic windows power management stuff to ensure that I'm running economically on battery power. Any other tips are appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Alex

If you're referring to the battery health pop-up that Sony sometimes displays when I boot my machine, it says its perfect. Of course, I don't trust anything that Sony says when it comes to batteries
