I can't decide for the power or portability......

What's the battery life on both?

w is an atom it will be much slower but have much better battery life

you are comparing a notebook and a netbook. if you want to do anything besides basic apps. get the CW

Are you really replacing an ENVY with either of those? The W is a netbook with a 1.6GHz Atom processor, that says "'eff you", if you ever try to play any HD video with it. Now the CW on the other hand is MUCH MUCH more powerful, and if you get the model with the GT330m then it can pretty much play or do anything you throw at it with ease, and not meltdown while doing it, unlike the ENVY. A friend of mine has an ENVY and it honestly gets hotter than my uMBP (with mine already at 96c).

Since the trackpad on the ENVY was the worst I've ever use... yes.

Well, battery issues aside, trackpad on the CW is silky smooth... matter of fact, it's probably the best I've ever used besides the macs of course.
