    Hi,

I have a CW series laptop that up until yesterday was working fine. When I try to turn it on now I hear the fan spin up and the processor click, but the display doesn't light up. Then if I press the power button again the battery indicator light blinks.

Does anybody have any idea what may be the cause behind this?

    Cheers!

I have a Vaio Z, and the battery light is always illuminated when I hold down the power button (implying the battery is charging when it's not). I think that's a vaio "feature", and probably unrelated to the problem that your display doesn't light up.
