Does anyone know how often BestBuy restocks the CW series (with BluRay, i5 processor, Nvidia GeForce330m)

Im looking at the White or Indigo models but they are out-of-stock and online only.

Oh, would anyone advise me buying a laptop from NewEgg?

Also, a SonyStyle employee told me that Bestbuy uses different hardware for their Sony laptops. Is that true?

Sounds a bit strange to me.

I got my CW26FX/W from Best Buy. There are certain models (like the CW26) that are only available on-line from BB. They do seem to restock these models, but it is hit or miss. I had to check back each day until they were finally back in stock and then I jumped on it. Hours later they were out of stock again and I have checked back periodically since getting mine and it has always been listed as out of stock. (I did call BB before I got mine to ask when they would be getting more in because I kept seeing out of stock on the website and the woman I spoke with couldn't give me any info and made it sound like BB didn't know when they would get their next shipment - then the next day they were in stock so I jumped on it.)

best buy does use different hardware then sonys online configuration utility. the best buy version has a better graphics card then what can be configured at sonys site.

its hit or miss. i tried to get one for 2 weeks. then got pissed and spent some money since they never had it in stock. then one day early am like 4 am i checked bb website and they had it. sigh.

eventually i will get one of these

i have bought 2 different laptops from newegg (both Asus) and had no issues of any kind. newegg is more expensive for the sony cw series then bestbuy though
