To be honest, I really liked how Treyarch shaders and textures looked in World at War, and I am liking the screenshots and trailers for Black Ops. I am hoping for a greatly optimized game. Unlike Medal of Honor...won't go there.
I am picking my copy up at midnight tonight. I am going to install on my Z first. Will update you on how it runs. But really, if it releases midnight in the UK, you will get it first...so update me -
I have my copy of Call Of Duty Black OP's preloaded through steam, so I will report back 1:00am Arizona time.
To be honest, I have not run world at war on my Z. WaW was much harder on systems than MW2. I hear that Black OP's is just an optimized engine of what WaW was running on. Expect to ditch shaders and AA. I am hoping for the best. -

Looking forward to it.
P.S: Im rushing for this game tonigh too. Even I said the last post I got no time. But still my heart is raging to get this game XD -
However, it was worth it..just finished killing some zombies, lol. With everything maxed and 2x AA, my CPU never went above 81 C and GPU never went above 79 C. -
Mine sharing what is your setting?
Thanks -
What about some screenshots, so we can see how it looks
-
Everything maxed except for Bodies at Medium, and 2x AA
I will do a FPS count with a screenshot later tonight, sorry.
I will tell you I think it looks better than MoH and MW2... -
Maybe I can help...
The game has launched with many bugs and getting this to run on my VPCZ1 (i7) wasn't smooth at all. I've lowered the setting to medium, resolution at native 1080 but it chugs a bit.
This isnt related to the Vaio but the game itself. It should receive some proper patches by the end of the month latest.
