    Can I Use Vaio TZ with 4Gb Ram

    Ah, the eternal optimist. :D

    You may find that the TZ will boot up with this RAM (I would be interested to know if it does). However, the Intel 945GMS chipset can only address 2GB so it would only use half of the RAM.

    A similar situation is my Sony G11 with 512MB on board and 2GB in the slot. It told me there was 2.5GB, but I could only use 2GB.

    My D430, which uses the same chipset, didn't even boot with more than 2GB installed.

    My old eMachine with the same chipset won't boot either with more then 2gb. Although it's more then enough for my desktop.

    ....Blu-Ray is the size of a normal DVD (physically). How could you possibly get the drive down to be the 9.5MM?
