I don't know if this is the right section, but I really need help with this.
Recently, I tried out the sony vaio system tuneup and to my surprise, all my personal files were deleted. The scan froze half way, so I had to close the program, so thankfully not all the files were deleted. But because of this, I can not undo the action. I REALLY NEED HELP as my personal files are very precious to me. Can anyone help me on this issue? I will be greatly thankful.

stop using the laptop - remove the HDD and scan it with something like Recuva using a second computer. Might be the easiest way...

And you MUST restore to another drive.
