over $500 difference in my Z13 CTO between the U.S. and Canada.

is there any way for me to take advantage of the lower price?

it looks like you cannot order Verizon WAN, but i would use a plug in antenna to save a half a grand.

    proposed configuration:
    i7, Win7 pro, 8GB, 256GB, 1920x1080, carbon fiber

I would assume Sony Canada won't ship to me directly, but I have a relative in Toronto that could buy it, and ship it to me for $20. Unless...are there high taxes for Canadian purchasers? And import duty for me?

    thanks

Join the club. ;) There are plenty of us waiting for the U.S. pricing to drop comparably to at least a reasonable level on these Zs. Unfortunately, even if you do manage to order from Canada (which requires a Canadian shipping address such as your friend's), the warranty is invalid in the USA.

My guess? Wait until Cyber Monday, when discounts are rumored to be in the works.
