Your keyboard seems to be broken.
But yeah, the CS series seems like a solid multimedia (=video and games) model range and still in a reasonable budget. You'll get less portability (more weight, less battery life) than some of the other Vaios but you can get a built-in Blu-ray player and an OK GPU (I think). Plenty of bang for your buck.
Edit.
Seems like that one has an integrated GPU. I'd go with the 9300M GS. -

Thanks for ur reply...
Can u plz tell me how much battery life I Can expect...company says 3hr...Is dere any problem associated wid it regarding Noise becoz I was going thru many forums and found people discussing abt CS series regarding fan noise n all...so can u please throw sum light on it....m not much into Games n Videos...just required for studies n work !!! -
Can't really say. But judging from the specs alone, if it's mainly studies and work, I'd take a look at the lighter Vaio SR models which have roughly 4 hours of battery life (some tests even say a little under 5 hours if there's no wireless etc.) and they are a tad under 2kg.

Thanks for ur reply
I saw Vaio SR but its bit costly and just battery n weight edges it against Vaio CS.I read that Vaio has heat-up problem and right now Dell Studio15 is not having such a problem. Is it true ?? Please throw sum light on it...I am not having clear idea abt any laptop.Sumwhere found Sony Vaio CS gud but sumwhere negative replies.Plz provide me sum information so that I can decide.
Thanx again for ur replies !!! -
Plz sumone help .........
-
I checked in the store the cs is light. The build is good and the heat up problem is not there. Even the store turn em on all day to show off
-
where could i get cs with discrete graphic instead of integrated one. I can't upgrade it in the sony style website.
-
The CS would be a great choice for basic needs such as word processing and surfing. I owned a similar but older model the CR notebook and it was able to handle many applications at once. The only issue I had with heating was when I had it on my lap but you shouldn't have your notebook on lap anyways I believe. You wont be disappointed with the CS. The only downside I had was the Integrated Graohics Card and the Battery Life.
@wowcan'twait: I don't believe you can get a CS with discrete graphics card. You would have to look into the bigger FW model or the smaller SR.
Can anyone let me knw abt New Sony Vaio CS35 ???
