    Hi all,

I have the Wintec 48 Expresscard in my Vaio Z to store music & photos on.

As is well documented, this card gets hot, even when not in use. And I access music/photos only a few times a week. the rest of the time I'm emailing/browsing.

Is there a way to make the card or indeed the slot sleep or standbby when not in use so that my lap doesn't get burnt all day? :)

    Thanks,

    Tom
