I have a Vaio AR series, i want to take off the plastic cover that surrounds the keyboard, the power button and volume buttons etc

Do you have to start from the bottom up to remove plastics off your Vaio laptop ? Any input on how i go about doing this would be appreciated. Its basically the largest plastic part on the top side of the laptop when the laptop is open, it has the Vaio stickers on it etc

I have an AR but have not had cause to dissasemble it. I have however, taken apart a wide range of other VAIOs. At the very least you will have to remove about all the screws on the bottom before the top shell comes off.
