    Good people of NBR,

my girlfriend is using design-software on her stationary Macs at home and in her office. To give her the opportunity to perform some tasks while she is at my place, I am trying to figure out how to install Mac OS (Maverick or Yosemite) as a second OS on my SVZ1311. The problem is that I can't find my laptop on any of the websites which show compatible machines.

Has anyone of you turned the Vaio Z3 into a Hackintosh? Are the components compatible?

I am downloading a distribution right now. I also got Mac OS to run on a virtual machine in order to configure the USB stick needed for installation. In my dream the Vaio Z will be a better Macbook Air at the end of this process, yet twice as powerful and half as heavy ;-)

I will give progress updates in this forum and would highly appreciate any input from anyone who has any experience with anything related to this topic.

    Thank you very much

    JK
