    My friend has a Sony VAIO VGN-NR110E and wanted to know if he can upgrade the CPU. It has an Intel T2310 (Socket P). Is this cpu soldered on?

    No its not soldered. (ZIF socket) It is replaceable/removable/upgradeable....
