    HI,

Just wondering if you can use the charger from the PMD for the Sony Vaio Z2 itself? The plug fits, can you also use this to charge the sheet battery?

You can just check the output specs on both power supplies. As long as the voltage is the same, and amperage is at least as much as it is on the laptop's charger, then you're fine.

the smaller (brick) used to charge the laptop has an output of 3.3A, but the PMD has an output of 6.6A, my laptop wont be sucking 6.6A all at once will it?

I think if I go the other way around, meaning the PMD using the 3.3A, then something is bound to blow? So Im guessing the PMD draws more current than the laptop?

No, power is drawn by the devices using it, Watts (AMP*Volts) just tells you how much capacity (like Internet bandwidth) it has.

The amperage rating of the power supply just tells you the maximum current the power supply can provide without overheating/blowing up. Your laptop won't draw more current if you connect it to a bigger power supply.

Yep, exactly. The PMD definitely draws more power, because it has internal electronics + it has to power/charge the laptop as well.
