Hi guys,
I have a SVE141190X laptop running on Windows 7 Professional 64 bit-OS.
I wanted to use the webcam but I can't.
Here's what I did.
1) Performed the System Recovery via VAIO Care successfully.
2) Did the Power Testing - by unplugging the battery and adapter and pressing the power button for 30 seconds, as I was instructed.
3) Installed the Webcam Companion 4 for my model via the manufacturer website, SONY.
4) Tried to enable Webcam via BIOS, but could not as there are no option for webcam and USB under Advanced tab. I only have one option listed - Intel Virtualization Technology, which was disabled by default.
So, just wanted to ask what I haven't still done yet.
I am going to contact the International Customer care center and see if what they can tell me. I'll post the reviews over here.

Does your webcam work before?
I could be a loose cable. If you can open your laptop, just double check a 4 wires cable. -

Hi Sony,
I noticed you joined quite long ago but only have 5 posts.
For better supporting here on this forum, you should look it up and answer here in stead of tell people go to other place to find it.
