    I have a samsung 46" DLP with model # (HLT4675sx/xaa). I have a vaio laptop that isn't very old at all. model # (pcg-7g2l)

I connected the vga output on the laptop to the tv's pc input and i can't get a picture to come up. I change the source and it doesn't even say it's connected. It says "no source connected"

Not sure what i'm doing wrong, my friend can't get his vaio to work either. I brought my other friends computer over, not sure what it was but it worked fine...so obviously its the vaio that is causing the issue. I sure hope someone has had this problem and figured it out already...

    I appreciate any help.

Anyone think it'd be a good idea to buy a usb adapter that changes usb signal to s-video...they are relatively cheap.

    Hi Alba,

Yes I got the same problem as you and called samsung, they told me VAIO's are incompatible with Samsung products (Thanks Sony!).

Did you have any luck finding a work around?

    Thanks

Might be a dumb question, but did you trigger the output on your laptop by pressing Fn-F7? (at least that's what it is on my SZ)
