I did what you said and found a few infections and got rid of them. But still no luck with the Internet problem. :(

You remember when it started to malfunction?

Perhaps you could try either restoring the machine to a previous state when everything worked or uninstall and re-install the software that doesn't function properly

However the first thing would be checking the firewall settings.

You could give it a try by disabling your firewall and try if the programs run properly without it.

Unfortunately i haven't saved any restoration point. And i have already tried disabling the firewall also. I will try the reinstalling method and see wether that works.

Nope, the reinstalling method doesn't work. Only thing that's working is browding on firefox aurora. Lol

Well this is a bit problematic.

You have an internet connection that the laptop recognizes and therefore also the modem works.

This might be a long shot but have you tinkered any settings in your modem?

What I'm saying that it seems that your hardware is fine, hence the problem must be software, firmware or settings.

Also have you made any updates to your drivers recently? Any software updates?

The problem has to reside there if can't be found from changes of the settings.

One thing is that your service provider would be limiting your usage of the internet but that varies from country to country and I don't know whether or not it is very common policy where you live.

Last thing. You could test your PC with a different internet connection. Do you use Wired or wireless connection?

edit. .Now I read you are using a dongle, didn't pay much attention to it when quickly read your post the first time. Do you have still data left in your contract?

First thing I would do is troubleshoot the internet connection. When you have several connections the not functioning internet just happens time to time and can be often solved just by using trouble shooter.

You could also remove your connection and make them as new ones.
