I'm using notebook Vaio VPCEB2S1E, with radeon 5650 onboard. Latest ATI drivers from Sony, Windows 7 x64.

When I connect external LCD monitor (Samsung 205BW) through VGA port I cannot get widescreen resolutions with 60Hz or more.

Display adapter shows that it can turn 4:3 resolutions up to 1900:1200 with 60Hz, but widecreen (1680 x 1050, 1920x1080) only with 24 Hz or 30Hz. Ati Catalyst controller shows the same - widescreen resolutions on VGA output can work on 24i Hz and 30i Hz.

My monitor works at 1680 x 1050 @ 60Hz, and I never had any problems with other notebooks making it work. Any suggestions?
