    Can't play DVD-/+RW on SZ110

    does any one have problem playing DVD-/+RW? I just find out today that it wouldn't play a burn dvd. Do i need to install any codec?

    I never heard of this problem. it works fine with mine.
    you might want to contact sony online chat support and try with them

    hmm....I wonder if it b/c I did a clean install.

    Sony tech-supports aren't really smart.

    how about cd-r? Maybe something makes it unable to read copied/burned media.
    Is there any starforce related media installed?

    Since you said codec, I believe what you burned was some kind of motion video. Can you at least see the files on the drive throught the Explorer ?
