I had ordered FZ4000 CTO that is not even going to ship till around the 19th. of Feb. I canceled order with them on Jan 31st but says still processing. I even emailed then again yesterday. I keep getting emails saying they might not be able to get the order canceled in time and it may ship. I emailed them back saying yes if it takes you 3 weeks to cancel an order yes it may ship.

I can see it taking a couple of days to cancel an order but come on SONY!!

Call your CC company and cancel the charge, then contact Sony to inform them you notified your CC about a fraudulent request for payment made by Sony :D.

I just went through the same &*(^*. When I called, they wouldn't let me cancel because it was already in the process of being built (2 weeks before the expected ship date!). Their suggestion was that I wait until it arrived, and then return it. I was not happy with that response.

The sony style rep seemed extremely apologetic, but wouldn't budge. This to me means she must have to deal with this unfortunate conversation 100 times a week and knows it is pure bs. Needless to say, I don't think very much of Sonystyle.

Where are these computers built? Seems like they have little control over the entire process. You can't even change the shipping address after the order is placed.
