Replaced the drive. Ran the 2 recovery DVD's and used the menu to open a CMD window and used that to format the disk without the /Q option (so I know the drive is found by the SATA drivers the DVD loads as it boots). I then proceed to the "Restore Complete System" in the "Vaio Recovery Center" and I get "Your system drive is too small or ma not exist. Select "Restore Complete System" to perform a complete system recovery." But that IS what I selected. The drive IS there and recognized because I not only formatted it in the Recovery Center, I also ran the diagnostics and it is found to be a 200gb drive just like what it was shipped with. I have done this before but cannot do it now. Please tell me what I am missing!! Thanks. Jim in Chicago
