First I want to say Hello to everyone. Long time reader but never owned a laptop so never saw need to post. Well I finally invested in one and I am have some issues with the drivers.

I bought the Sony VGN-NR110 laptop and I know its using the GM965 Chipset. I saw that Intel has the 15.7 Drivers on their site but for some reason I can't install them. I currently have the 14.5 and when I try updating it asks me to restart but never updates after restart. The drivers installed are still the 14.5, I even tried uninstalling the drivers, rebooting and then installing the new ones with no luck.

Sony's Tech Support and Site is useless, most of the drivers are old and the CSRs are very unhelpful. Does anyone here know how to solve this issue?

    Thanks in advance guys.
