I'm using the Laptopvideo2go drivers (in my case 84.43), they work well and don't come with this weird new nVidia configuration center thing either. Don't forget to download the INF as well, copy that to the extracted folder and you should be good to go.

I updated my SZ90 to the latest graphics driver on the Sony Japan site - the version is 8.4.0.5. It supposedly fixes some issues which I haven't encountered.

I have had problems with previous version of nvidia driver, so i installed the graphics controller from intel webiste, but now i m trying to install the new nvidia driver released five days ago the 8.4.0.5, however it wont install it from some reason, as if the intel is overriding the driver, can anyone help me on this, been trying for some time but no success. I tried uninstalling the intel driver from display properties then installing the new driver from esupport but no luck, the driver doesnt get replaced. it appears however in add/remove programs

I'm unsure if I can actually navigate through the Sony JP site to find drivers. Usally, I have problems getting to the specs page !

To install the nvidia driver, you must be in the speed mode. To install the intel driver you must be in the stamina mode.

Thanks , that solved the problem. But why is it that when i switch to stamina mode, the intel driver is used, and when i switch to speed mode, the nvidia driver takes over. Whats the difference between the two, anyone? Thanks
