    Cannot locate C:\Program Files (x86)\Sony\VAIO Event Service file

    Hi, after buying and returning a sony ultrabook decided to go with a vaio s. I'm having the same problem of my fn keys making a beeping sound. With the ultrabook I got sony online support to basically fix this for me. But at first they couldn't find the C:\Program Files (x86)\Sony\VAIO Event Service file.

    I also can't find it on my new sony laptop. After spending an hour with sony support they also couldn't find it and gave up and told me to call sony.

    Anyone know how to find this C:\Program Files (x86)\Sony\VAIO Event Service file or how to elsewise turn off this blasted beeping sound with the fn keys?

    I actually hung up on a sony support person because they told me they couldn't find the file and there's nothing they can do...

    Wow, after doing a computer-wide search for pi.wav i located it somewhere, it was not in program files, and renamed it cat. Now i no longer hear beeping.
