The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Cant access home network with Sony TZ

    I can access one of my home networks wireless access points, and thus get onto the internet.
    In Network Sharing I can see other computers on the network, but can not access them from the TZ, even though my other desktops and MacBook can.

    This is a problem, since my printer is a network printer connected to the network through one of the connected PC's.

    Does the TZ have to have the same password as the other computers????

    Found the problem- Network discovery for some reason was turned off on network server.
