    Hi all

I came across this on eBay: http://cgi.ebay.com/10-5V-Black-Car...in_0?hash=item58828a15bf&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

I know it says that it is a Vaio P charger, but I was wondering if it would also work with the UX. The UX wall charger is rated for 16V 2.2A while this is 10.5V 1.9A. IMO it should work okay since the current does not exceed what the wall charger supplies. Am I correct in making this assumption?

    Thanks
    Duane

I personally recommend not using any car DC output "charger" for notebooks. Best bet is to use a converter, car battery to 100-240V, if you find it.

    cheers ...

Good for you. My personal preference is simply not to use any 3rd party adapter (cigarette plug is one of those). Got enough bad experiences not to recommend them. Others are luckier.

    cheers ...
