Any electronics store typically carries an adapter that plugs into the 12v car/airplane outlet that converts to AC. Then you plug any AC device into it. I got one at Best Buy.

    Thanks for the reply

I do not want a inverter/converter that I plug the power supply from the Sony TZ into. I am looking for a power supply like the Dell slim and light power supply. It can be plugged into ether 120acv or 12dcv to supply the power to the notebook.

I am not wanting to care any more hardware than is needed, I was hopping Sony made on for the TZ.

Sony doesn't make such a thing. You could get something like the Kensington 120W one.

I use that for car and flight and as a spare adapter for when I travel. Works great and is normally around 89 dollars at radio shack. Enjoy!

(Oh and if you ask for a dual power cord too, you can charge your phone or ipod while you charge your laptop too)

The juice70 (which is for the TZ) is the smallest laptop charger they make. Not by any means as compact as the one that comes with the laptop, but with the carrying case and tip options and dual charging, its a lot more convenient than carrying an inverter around with enough wattage to do the same.
