The Catalyst 10.3 beta drivers have been leaked. They support Mobility Radeon cards. I tried them on my VAIO FW (Win 7 / x64) and they worked (even though Sony asked ATI not to be included in their driver program).

From what I understand, ATI will release mobility drivers starting with 10.3 but Sony have actually opted out of this, so even if this Beta works, the final version may not work with the Vaios without modding again... :(

Yeah, but I'm sure it will be pretty easy to stop the driver from recognizing the VAIO

How do you know Sony opted out?

Also, install the 10.3 prerelease drivers has enable ATi Stream technology, which I like. :)

Vertical Red Line During Video Playback FIX - ATI 10.3 Drivers

    MafiaMan,
I was having the exact same vertical red line problem you were. I just installed the officially released 10.3 drivers from ATI along with the CCC.

For some useres, there seems to be a bug in the 10.3 release that automatically enables Video Demo Mode within Catalyst Control Center. This will cause a vertical red line to appear in the middle of videos.

    Red Line (Demo mode) Fix
    • Open the Catalyst Control Center. (If you're in CCC basic mode switch to advanced)
    • Click the Graphics tab --> Video
    • Click the All Settings tab
    • Scroll down to Video Demo Mode
    • Uncheck Enable Demo Mode
    • Click OK. Done!

    Hope that works for you.

Edit: I'm running an ACER 5536-C3F (ATI Radeon HD 3200)

10.3 won't load for me. Something about incompatable hardware or software. How do I get it loaded?
