Hi the screen on my FZ has cracked. I'm thinking of changing teh screen instead of getting a brand new laptop. I was wondering if this was a hard thing to do and by hard i mean have to solder things? Also do I have to get an FZ screen or would any screen with the same do?

Try and look for a similar one on ebay, you wont need to solder anything.
There should be plenty of guides; try googling.

Sony will most likely charge you more than the laptop cost for collection, parts, and labour so it'd be worth giving fixing it yourself a shot.
