    Hi,

I got a sony vaio CR notebook a few months ago pre loaded with Vista Home Premium. I get an awful lot of Blues Screens and would like to do a CLEAN vista install. If I get a Vista Disc and install using the key on the bottom of the PC will it work out?

I tried MEMTEST and there were no memory errors so I think it is something to do with the install

    Thanks in advance,
    Jerry

The SN on the bottom of PC is OEM Serial Number, it may not work with your Vista Disc

Reboot system and press F10 several time during system reboot -> system will boot from recovery partition, follow the instruction on screen to re-image your system.
