So I performed a clean install of Windows 7 to my FZ430E and everything seems to be working find except getting the external monitor to display with the Fn + F7 option. When trying to get to the external monitor option, it gives me the choice of using the LCD only or Setup.

If I go into setup, it brings me to the external display section setting window in the viao center. There I only have the option to check or uncheck whether to change the external display detection method. (It is defaulted as a check)

However, I am still able to access the external monitor by using the Window + P option.

I'm a little confused as to why, and how I can remedy this problem.

You must install newer Sony utilities. Refer to my guide.
