    Good Afternoon All,

I recently completed - with a great deal of success - a completely clean install of my sony vaio... gone is the bloatware, the computer loads up like a quick dream and my head ache of unresponsive CD rom drives and slow program loading is a thing of the past...

The problem I am having now is a few components - namely the sound specific (Sound works - but not properly and to the level before), my Bluetooth is gone, and my memory card wont recognise and the FN keys... I know where to download my respective drivers, but the problem is that each time I try to install them, I get the following message:
"This application is not compatible with your model number"
    then the application terminates...

I have VGN-C25G R (R meaning red) and here is the link to the drivers and other functions so I know I am in the right place.

Similarly, when i go to the vaio control centre, i cannot change any settings - I get the error message "Action not allowed" (in particular with the irritating flashing LED light underneath this laptop)

Is there a way to restore these, or is it a hopeless cause?

    GYN
