    Just a thought, what are you guys using to clean your laptop... For example my mouse pad, i was eating potatoes chips and got oil on my finger while moving the cursor, i notice there is a oil spot, what do you use to clean it. Sorry if you think it a waste of thread but i just don't want to ruin my laptop... thanks in advance!

    Yes, isopropyl alcohol should be OK. You can often buy it from a pharmacist. I wouldn't recommend any harsher solvents though.
