Could someone explain what this means please:

"Clearance products are brand new products end of life sold with the normal warranty from Sony up to 2 years - just like brand new items.
You also receive full VAIO after-sale service. Support includes automatic registration of your details through our Customer Contact Centre."

Is this a new product or not? and if it is new, why do "clearance products" sell much cheaper?

They are new but old models.
Seller want to sell them fast to make room for new models to come.
That's why they lower the prices or give discounts and call it clearance.
Clearance products also means those things need to go fast.
