dear all, i have a sony vaio VGN-TZ21MN.

it came with vista business installed, and replaced it with XP Professional.
so after that i realise that the clock changes automatically once i restart the computer.

the BIOS time is OK. and i have checked the clock config and all is OK.
can you tell me whats going wrong with it.
or if a sony has an software or something else to correct this issue?

    thanks in advance.

(sorry if im talking about somethiong that was already discussed here) this my 1st post.

Could it be you have Windows automatically update your time via internet?

    hello heavenly_wild

i have desabled this option and the problem, remain.
i found on some forums that it can be the CMOS battery. and i have to take it out for a minut or two. and put it back.

can you tell me where do i get the service manual for model of TZ. (VGN-TZ21MN) so that i can try this one.
