    Hi all
I have a Sony VGN-AR12N lap top with a 160 GB hard drive which is getting full so I have bought a 500 GB hard drive & I want to clone it
I have a USB case for the new drive but this computer has room for 2 hard drives so is it better to put the two drives in the computer & do it that way or by USB
    Thankyou

Did you look on Google for help? There are a bunch of software programs to help you clone your HD and many that use USB.
    best of luck--

If by "clone" you mean exact backup, lookup DriveImageXML. It's free and it will create a full image of your drive, of which you could later restore from.
