The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    So, I know that this is a problem with all laptops, not just Sony. I've found a workaround ( http://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=1175893&SiteID=1&PageID=1)
    but it also seems like this might be corrected by updating the BIOS, video driver, or something else. Since I want to be cautious about messing around with my drivers and such, can anyone tell me if they were able to fix this issue without messing with their device manager?

    Edit: Nevermind - went to the Intel site and found a solution :)
