hey guys , i'm a little confues with sony's product .. ok first of all the website ..

I went to learn more about the SZ series - http://www.learningcenter.sony.us/Notebooks/SZSeries/Research1/SZCompare

when i search for the models , SZ premium :

    VGN-SZ150P/C

    VGN-SZ160P/C

    VGN-SZ170P/C

    VGN-SZ180P/C

    and for SZ notebooks :

    VGN-SZ110/B

    VGN-SZ120P/B

    VGN-SZ140 Configurable

when i went to the SZ series in the website - http://www.sonystyle.com/is-bin/INT...VAIONotebookComputers_SZSeries&Dept=computers

    the only models are :

    VGN-SZ240

    VGN-SZ281P/X with VAIO® Carrying Case
    VGN-SZ281P/XK1 NEW

    Sony VAIO® SZ280P/C Notebook
    VGN-SZ280P/C NEW

    Sony VAIO® SZ270P/C Notebook
    VGN-SZ270P/C

    Sony VAIO® SZ230P/B Notebook
    VGN-SZ230P/B NEW

HUH ?? where are those 120 , 170 etc ? and can someone explain to me what does P/B , P/C etc stands for ??

2nd thing : whenever i read any sony review , it does not says the model , for example in the most popular laptop ( left handside in notebookreview ) 4th placing : Sony VAIO SZ , it says :
    Manufacturer: Sony
    Model: Sony VAIO SZ220/B - Core Duo T2400 1.83 GHz - 13.3

But when i click the review , it says :
    Sony VAIO SZ2 Review

HUH ?? there's no SZ 2 model , same goes for other series ..

and i'm from Malaysia , when i search for the Malaysia sony website : www.sony.com.my , the SZ models are : VGN-SZ25GP/B and VGN-SZ28GP

HUH ?? i understand if the latest model have not arrive Malaysia , but sz25 ? thats a pretty wierd model , i've never come across those models in the US Sony site ....

And lastly , can i order comps from the US Sony site instead of the Malaysia ones because its pretty obvious that US has more models to choose from ..

can someone please help me clear my confusion ?? thanks

    SZ - 1X0 - first generation
    SZ - 2X0 - current generation

    If X = 1, 2, 3, 4, standard model with Magnesium plating, 4.1 lbs, less battery life, lamp-lit screen.

If X = 5, 6, 7, 8, premium model with Carbon plating, 3.7 lbs, slightly more battery life, very thin, high-quality screen.

    Buy here: www.portableone.com
To order, you must call for overseas service, since you are in Malaysia.

If memory serves the 'B' indicates the "ultra" premium carbon fiber lid as opposed to the "standard" premium carbon fiber lid and the "C" indicates models with a built-in Cingualr EVDO/WAN slot.

To my knowledge B stands for the regular Mg casing and C stands for the standard fiber carbon. X stands for the premium.
