I'm getting a new monitor. So I'm just wondering if the Z is capable of supporting a 24 in + a 22 in. in dual monitor configuration.
Can I do that with a Z docking pad? Or do I need to get one of those special connectors to support 2 ext. monitors?

    Thanks!

Do you have and HDMI out? This would be your best option. I am planning on doing the same with my SR in the near future. If your monitor doesnt have an HDMI input, then it likely has a DVI input. In this case, you will need to buy an HDMI to DVI cable. You can find it for under 10 bucks online. Both of these scenarios are supposed to give you much better image quality than connecing using VGA.
Im not sure about the dual monitor configuration, but I am almost certain that this will depend on the video card you have.

Impossible to connect two monitors to the Z. One only. VGA or HDMI/DVI.

Been discussed before.. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

External adaptor is the only option here. Matrox Graphics offers their TripleHead2Go Digital Edition external Graphics eXpansion Modules that will allow for up to three monitors.
