I have been disappointing with my Envy's battery life and heat, although I realize I don't need that power house laptop. I find a Vaio Z with this configugation:

    Intel® Core™ i5-520M Processor 2.40GHz with Turbo Boost up to 2.93GHz, 4GB, 500GB HDD (7200rpm), 13.1” premium LED backlight, NVIDIA® GeForce® GT330M 1GB GDDR3

How much battery will I get from just surfing nets ,word processing and listening to music through jacks ?
Is the 13" screen okay since this will be the first time I use a computer on such small screen.
How's the heat of this laptop ?

    Help help
