I want an outdoor programming/gaming lappy - so the screen needs to be as bright as possible.

So the FZ31S has the dual lamp screen which is about 330cd, will the FW come with a LED lit screen?

On top of that the increase in screen res of the FW might work against me, depending on the upgraded GFX. Still uhmming and ahhing about the potency of the 8600GS in the FZ.

Thoughts? I can currently get the FZ for about £800UK.

The 8600m GS is fairly weak compared to the 8600m GT. It will play any new game on low-medium but the GT is a big step up performance wise. I would recommend aiming for that or above or wait for some new mobile gaming card to be released.. any month now :D

Also a matte screen would be the way to go if you plan on using it outdoors ;)
