Is is possible to combine coupons for free shipping with other discount coupons?

Also, I'm considering going to a Sony Store and asking them to order a configured VAIO SR; would I be able to ask for discounts, or are Sony Stores relatively independent of SonyStyle.ca?

Yeah, Sony retail and sonystyle.ca are different entities. They do not operate at all with each other and are independent of each other. Even competing with each other I might add. second, you can only use one coupon per purchase in Canada for sonystyle.ca, almost 100% sure for all the useful coupons anyway. Free shipping is provided by sony with pruchase of over 50 dollars.

The two 290 series are listed as 'out of stock.' So, you can't order either yet?

Anyone know when you could order? I think the FW290CTO and SR290CTO are within my price range. Btw, what's the difference between them? Since they're listed 'out of stock', there isn't further info regarding their specs.

If I went into one of the sony retail stores, could I order one or is the 'out of stock' going to delay, indefinitely, the availability of these? I bet Americans would have stores that would have them in stock! I need to choose a Canadian retailer, though. For whatever laptop I get...

The main difference between is the screen size and available video card. The SR comes with ATI 3470, and the FW comes with ATI 3650...a better video card.

Other than those two, it's really the same. Yeah I already tried getting a sony store to put in an order for me, but they won't because sonystyle.ca and the sony stores are like two different companies.

I suggest buying a CTO custom one from sonystyle.ca because the CTO's are a better deal and there is a $150 coupon for minimum purchase of $1500. Also, if you buy a preconfigured one from the store, you will get the crappy bilingual keyboard with a small left shift key and awkward enter key. If you buy a CTO, they are made in the USA with the regular English keyboard.

I have noticed that they go out of stock pretty much everyday and then change to in stock everyday as well. It's really random for some reason.

We have sony stores here that got their stores name changed to sony style. I thought they were the same. I asked them if I could order a CTO and get it shipped to them to save money, they said they could do it. Since shipping is free though, might as well get it delivered to your home. I ended up buying my SR CTO in the states due to all their awesome deals they had/
