Hello. My VCPEB290X fell about a foot.. and the LCD is useless. there are several crAackes from the lower right corner, to the upper left corner. -- and the screen disapayes several and horrizontal and vertical lines...

Will my warranty cover this? I'm guessing they will install a new LCD for free, but I pay for the LCD?

I called and they said their
on site peoploe will call and come over, but it's been 2 hours.

also, what is a VCPEB290X CTO?

Physical damage is not covered under the warranty. You will probably pay parts and labour.

It's gonna cost you an arm and a leg to pay for it.

Dude, always get a PAP to cover you stuff. It only costs $1 to cover $100 worth of stuff a year, depending on the insurance company. So you can cover $5000 worth of stuff for $50 a year. Since this is accidental damage, the PAP would have covered it. I don't believe in getting extended warranties. Too expensive for too little coverage. But at $20 a year to cover my Z at full retail replacement value, it's a win.
