Hi all, i own a Sony Vaio laptop model number PCG-7D1M.

Recently the screen has cracked very badly and all the ink has bled, i need a replacement screen for it, i have seen one advertised which looks identical to my screen however this model number is VGN-FS215Z.

Although the two screens are identical will the one iv seen advertised be suitable for my laptop?

    Many Thanks,
    Matthew.

Unless you can find someone here who has taken BOTH models of machine appart, you are not going to get an answer to that question. The likelyhood of finding such a person are between slim and none.

What you need to find out is the model number of the DISPLAY itself.
