I have a VGN-FW550F and i did a clean install and installed W7 Ultimate. First I had no problems, but after a while all my usb ports went crazy. It is keeps telling that the USB device cannot be recognized, even when I unplug all the USB devices.

I've had this problem before. I couldn't take it anymore so i restored it back to the pre-installed W7HP.
A few days ago i've had to format my hard disk 'cause i've had some problems. I forgot why i delete Windows 7 Ultimate so I've installed the Ultimate version again and now I remember why I deleted Ultimate.

EDIT: All the USB devices I connect doesn't work anymore How can i fix this?

Sorry for the cr*ppy English. I try my best

If Win7 HP works then Ultimate should as well, as there are no driver changes between the two. Try putting in the restoration disk and letting the driver update in the device manager search the disk for applicable drivers?

Yeah, that's the one of the biggest problem. I've the recovery disk here and i installed VAIO care, which let me install drivers and programs. But after the install, I try to start Vaio care but it doesn't load.

I've forgot to tell. I've installed Ultimate yesterday and i've got this problem after my PC did funny. I had to manually turn the PC off (hold the power button)

Well if the intel drivers did nothing, most likely usb controller is faulty. Nothing you can do about that short of replacing the motherboard.
