The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I found this program at (vlite.net) that will take out the stuff you don't use in vista to make it run smaller and faster. I've read some people got it on a 688MB disk.

    The only problem is that you need the Vista install disk it won't work with the recovery disk the you create from Sony backup.

    Nice! Hacked version of Vista V-lite installs are going around on trackers aswell.
    Haven't tried them yet.
